Kris Carr built her Crazy Sexy Wellness empire (with over 500K followers!) on the heels of a stage IV cancer diagnosis and a resolve to thrive while living with it. She’s one of the most caring and inspired people I’ve ever met. But get her on set, and she shows her true colors as a fun-loving, high-energy, uber-driven lady boss (in the best possible way!). And she’ll breakout into dance at a moment’s notice.
For this shoot, like several I’ve done with her, Kris and her team spent days prior assessing their potential image needs, drafting a shot list, and thinking through props and wardrobe that would support her high-spirited brand voice. The vintage truck, flowers, al fresco picnic, even the sparkly headphones were considered well in advance — giving us freedom on set to create the fresh spontaneity that her brand is all about.
