Any opportunity to meet with Dr. Christiane Northrup is a soul kiss. Her enthusiasm for learning, and sharing literally oozes from her being. Dr. Northrup is a New York Times bestselling author and a trailblazer in women’s medicine, challenging conventions of the medical community and empowering her patients and followers to take the reins of their own health.
Shooting Christiane is like chasing after the Energizer bunny — and she’s game for anything. The image above was shot deep inside her garage, because it offered the most beautiful, natural light. Following that, she trotted from gardening to weight lifting, tango dancing, meditation and more. I found myself lying on the ground, perched atop ladders and prying between branches to keep up. The best, however, was seeing the entire crew learn from her practices and sage wisdom how we could each level up our own self-care, and leaving us saying, “I want what she’s having!”
