Nancy Levin is an author, radio show host, Master Integrative Coach, speaker, poet (with a master’s degree in poetry and creative writing, no less), and all around amazing creative re-inventor. She is a living example of what is possible when we have the courage to leap — and a willingness to own our worthiness.
While she’s a powerhouse in her work, she admitted to me her discomfort in front of the camera, so my goal for this shoot was simple — to make her feel special. We eased into it, starting with beautiful hair and makeup and a few portraits in her hotel room. Then we strolled through trendy downtown neighborhoods, finding quiet nooks and cobblestone streets to shoot in — she nearly forgot she was being photographed. That’s always when the magic happens. As we wrapped, she blurted out with surprise in her voice, “that wasn’t painful — that was fun!” Thank you, Nancy, I couldn’t agree more.
